PLANTS
VENUS FLY TRAP (Dionaea)
FLY TRAP

NO PESTICIDES
It sits with it's jaws open until an unsuspecting fly lands. Inside the leaves are trigger hairs. If the fly touches the hair twice, the trap snaps shut and doesn't reopen until the insect has been eaten. It's easy to grow, especially on sunny window sill.
Keep wet by placing the pot on a saucer of rainwater. Tap water can kill it.
Pinch out any flowers as they sap the plant's strength. In winter move to a cool room, keep compost damp and cut off dead leaves.
